RS simplified vacuum emulsifying mixer is our pilot/simplified type of RS series production size with the maximum working capacity of 100L.
Some customers are interested that why the maximum capacity of RS simplified is only 100L. The cover of main mixer is lifted by compressed air of about 0.4Mpa pressure. As the cover has to hold the beam, motors, gearbox and other fittings, it’s very heavy for the two pistons to lift it. We have tested the weight and found that the piston can’t support the weight more than 100L mixer.
Last month, one customer from US put the order for two sets of RS-100 for making cream. Our technical team studied the old drawings and developed new drawings for the 100L emulsifying mixer with the following improvements.
The original height from the sight glass to the ground of RS-100 is 1450mm. It’s a little bit higher for Asians to view the inside of the mixer when cream is produced inside. Now we lower the height from 1450mm to 1300mm by cutting the height of the supporting frame for the main tank. With this height it’s easier for operators from all countries to operate our machine.
The old design of RS-100 simplified for tilting the vessel is using a handrail. If the capacity is below 100L, it’s just OK to turn the tank forward for pouring out the finished product and for cleaning the inside of the vessel. Our customers sent us the feedback complaining it’s too heavy to turn the 100L mixer with full load. So we use the hand wheel now instead of handrail. It’s energy-saving and safe for the operators.
The purpose of castor wheels in RS simplified vacuum emulsifying mixer is to move the mixer easily from place to place. But RS-100 is so heavy with full load that you don’t need to move it any more. You can use forklift to move it if necessary. The total height of the 100L vacuum mixer can be lowered too with the adjustable legs.
With the above three improvements, our RS-100 simplified vacuum emulsifying mixer is more mutual and better in design now and will bring customers more conveniences.
