Cosmoprof Asia 2010 closed today in Hong Kong

Cosmprof Asia, which is the second only in the world to Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, held in Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from November 10~12, 2010.

It’s the biggest and the most definitive event in the beauty and cosmetics industry in the Asia Pacific region. It has once again confirmed the value and competence of the motto “Cosmoprof System in the World”.

Cosmoprof Asia, celebrating its 15th anniversary, posted remarkable statistics: 57,400 sqm of exhibition area (+10% in comparison with the 2009 edition) that hosted 1,633 exhibitors (16% up on 2009); a 49% increase in visitor online pre-registration numbers, which corresponded with the 10% increase in actual attendance of more than 45,100 visitors over the three show days; setting a new record in overseas attendance with more than 26,100 visitors (11% up on 2009) mostly coming from Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Brazil and the USA; 18,900 attendees from Hong Kong (8% up on 2009); and more than 200 media members and journalists from beauty and cosmetics industry.

The exhibitors, which come from 34 different countries and regions, reported fantastic final results and large satisfaction. Their expectation of getting to know new potential buyers was reached thanks to the participation of exhibitors from across the global.

The great performance confirms Cosmoprof Asia as the reference event for the cosmetics and beauty world in the second half of the year.

Cosmoprof Asia is organised by Cosmoprof Asia Ltd, a joint venture company by UBM Asia Ltd and BolognaFiere Group. The 16th edition of Cosmoprof Asia will be held from 9 to 11 November 2011 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
